We are founded in the love of art and the heart of giving back. Rallying together in the support and pursuit of dreams one gift at a time. Giving artists the encouragement they need to be great. Rewarding hard work, talent, and heart.
Founded in Jackson Hole, Wyoming 2009 by Amy Ringholz, The Ringholz Art Supply Awards were built to recognize the needs of artists of all ages to be supported in their art pursuits. Her team aims to find the people that demonstrate the qualities that she has found has brought her to a strong career in the arts.
First, the RASA is looking for HARD WORK. Putting your time in with your medium is what takes artists from playing around with their art to their firm commitment to the relationship. This characteristic is imperative when trying to make a name for yourself in the arts. Secondly, TALENT. You can recognize talent in someone's passion for their work. When an artist loves what they are making, you can see it in the art. Talent is nurtured and pushed and expanded upon and simplified, and strongly coincides with the time and dedication in the studio. Lastly, RASA, pushes the HEART of the artist. It is important to remember where you came from as an artist, and to be grateful to those who encouraged you to begin. It is equally important to use your gift at some point for the greater good.
The RASA exists because one person had the idea to share the vision, to believe in the dream, and to return the favor. One small organization can do great things. Anything can happen when one person believes in another.
We thank you for applying, and will inform the winners on June 1st 2019!
