Third Annual Sculpture Exhibition
Abiquiu Inn Sculpture Walk and Garden
Key Dates and Deadlines:
Art Submission: January 1 – March 31, 2020
Juried Notification: April 20, 2020
Sculpture Intake: By appointment April 20 – May 8, 2020
Opening Reception: Saturday, May 16, 3-5pm
Sculpture Outtake: By appointment March - April 2021
Eligibility:
Professional Submission: 18 years and up
Student Submission: Current student ID must be presented
Eligible Entries: 1-5 entries per artist (one entry per application, 5 maximum applications), 3D sculptures of any medium appropriate for outdoor display, selected entries must be transported to New Mexico for exhibition
Entry Guidelines & Instructions:
Register on www.callforentry.org if not already a member and complete required artist information
· Upload media to “My Portfolio”
· Go to Apply to Calls page, apply to Abiquiu Inn Sculpture Walk & Garden Exhibition
o Up to 5 submissions per sculptor, one sculpture entry per application submission
o Upload all media prior to check-out, application cannot be altered after submission
o Click Save Application; can return to complete app any time before deadline
· Continue to Checkout, no cost for submissions
Upload 1-3 photos of each piece wishing to be judged, 1 entry per application

Jury Process:
Jurors are Doug Coffin and Star York
Sculptures will be juried in digital format
Selection notification will be emailed by April 20, 2020
Recognition:
Cash award for professional 1st place, listed as featured artist, sculpture on display through March 2021
Cash award for student 1st place, sculpture on display through March 2021
Other sculptures may be offered display opportunity at Sculpture Walk & Garden through March 2021
Sculptures on Display:
Location of sculptures to be determined by Abiquiu Inn
Markers with sculpture information provided by Abiquiu Inn
Insurance provided by Abiquiu Inn while sculpture is on Inn premises
Display pedestals provided by Abiquiu Inn
Sculptor is responsible for transportation costs for installing and removing sculpture for exhibition
If sculpture is for sale, Consignment Agreement to be signed by both parties
· Consignment sales are split 60% net sale to sculptor, 40% to Abiquiu Inn
· Sculptor responsible for packaging or transportation of sold sculptures
Images submitted and images taken while on display may be used for marketing or promotional purposes and may include printed materials, advertisements, or electronic media. The sculptor retains full copyright of exhibited work. Images used will have sculptor and photo credit.
