CraftHiltonHead2020, 7th National Juried Fine Art Craft Guild Exhibition, seeks 2D and 3D fine art craft entries that encompass exemplary creativity, experimentation, and imagination, showcasing what can be accomplished with few restrictions. Up to 90 works will be chosen by three esteemed jurors based on artistic excellence, innovation, and originality.

Over $3,000 in cash prizes will be awarded by our judge, Jenn McEwen. This exhibition will be free and open to the public from October 6 – 31, 2020 at Art League of Hilton Head's beautiful gallery located inside Arts Center of Coastal Carolina on Hilton Head Island, SC. The deadline for applications is August 12, 2020.

About the Judge, Jenn McEwen:
Jennifer McEwen comes to Hilton Head Island to fill the role of Director of Cultural Affairs following a successful track record in arts leadership and marketing strategy in Atlanta, Georgia. Most recently, Jennifer was the Executive Director at Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company in Atlanta. She was promoted to this position after spending three years as the company’s Director of Marketing and PR where she increased earned revenue by 30% while cutting over $100,000 from the company’s marketing budget. As Executive Director, she led a financial turnaround for the organization and, during her tenure as the administrative leader of the company, grew the organization by expanding the company’s national education program to 12 cities across the country, being a space to produce new work by African American playwrights regionally, and launching community initiatives to create a safe space to discuss social justice issues. Prior to joining True Colors, Jenn served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Horizon Theatre Company and as the Media Relations and Operations Manager for the Ansley Park Playhouse, both also in Atlanta. Jenn has worked in marketing and development for Opera Carolina and in promotions for Basin Street Records, Inc. in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a member of the National Arts Strategies 2016-2017 Chief Executive Program, a cohort of 50 arts leaders selected from an international pool to spend a year together working on professional development and brainstorming advancement for the field, the 2020 Leadership South Carolina class, and the Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta Class of 2010. Jennifer was named to Georgia Trend Magazine’s 2016 40 Under 40 list and was recognized in 2013 by the Georgia Center for Nonprofits’ Nonprofit Impact Awards. She currently serves on the Americans for the Arts Private Sector Advisory Council. Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
