2020 Annual Photography Show

The Spanish Peaks Arts Council (SPACe) in La Veta, Colorado
Photography must be the original concept and creation of the artist. Works created either on film or digitally will be accepted. Digitally created works must be based on photography. No artwork that has been in a SPACe Gallery show or in the Gift Shop within the past 12 months will be accepted. Cash prizes will be awarded in 2 categories. Designate in which category the entries should be judged; COLOR or MONOCHROMATIC.
1st Place- $400
2nd Place - $250
3rd Place - $100
Honorable Mention - $25
► July 21-25 -- Artwork arrives the Gallery between 11 am-3 pm. No entries will be accepted after July 25. Work MAY be brought earlier. Shipped works must include a pre-paid return shipping label and will be returned in the same packaging in which it was sent. UPS or USPS preferred. Do not ship glass. Nonglare Plexiglas preferred
► Aug 1 – Opening reception 5-7 pm.
► Aug. 29 – Pick up artwork 2:30-4 pm. Shipped work will be sent by Sept. 10.
♦ $10 entry fee per item for SPACe members; $15 nonmembers. Limit of 3 entries per artist. Sold artwork may be replaced for no additional fee. If any entry is over the equivalent of 20"x30", it will count as 2 entries.
♦ All entered artwork MUST BE FOR SALE.
