Miami’s newest project “K-Art Projects USA” a subsidiary of Contemporary Art Projects USA will give the opportunity to national and international emerging artists to enter and win a chance to exhibit at Art Expo New York 2021 located at Pier 36, New York, October 28-31. The Booth #229 will be located at the Platinum Aisle Center Section of the Show. 
4 Winners will be selected to physical exhibit at the Booth. 
20 artists will be part of an Online Exhibition at Artsy Platform
Each Artist will have 1 piece for Sale on the Platform during the Fair and One Month Post Fair.  (10/27-11/30/2021)

About Art Expo New York:  unlike many other fine art shows and fairs, it is a magnet to trade buyers – in other words, the first two days of the show are trade-only days, with more than 5,000 professional trade buyers expected to attend.

Headquartered in Miami, Contemporary Art Projects, USA, is dedicated to nurturing new contemporary art by providing exhibition opportunities and resources for emerging/established artists and curators. Our mission is to promote art appreciation within the international community, to inspire and assist with the process of the art collection, and to generate resources that support artists’ creative endeavors through art awareness, artist promotion, and art procurement. We work with the best minds in the industry and share our experience and passion for marketing the arts, culture, and entertainment.  From Biennials and gala auctions to exhibitions and major international art fairs, we have the experience, innovation, and creativity to engage audiences through inspired campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS

Media

Images -MINIMUM 2 IMAGES.  MAXIMUM of 5 IMAGES

Total Media – Minimum: 2, Maximum: 5

Entry Fee: $50.00/per Application Process and Two Images.

Additional Media (per IMAGE): $10.00

Maximum Fee of $80.00

The only additional cost to the artists is Shipping or Deliver Cost to and from the Fair if the artwork is not sold of the Selected Artists. All other Costs are Included.

AWARDS

First Prize: 4 Artists will exhibit @ Artexpo New York 2021. Booth #229.        Only Fee is the Entry Fee thru Cafe. NO HANGING FEE OR ADDITIONAL FEES.

 20 Artists will be part of an Online Exhibition @Artsy Platform.                     Each Artist will have 4 pieces for Sale @ArtsyPlatform.

ELIGIBILITY

This exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age and older in the disciplines of Computer Art, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Small and Monumental Sculptures, as well as all Innovative New Technologies in Art.

SPECIFICATIONS

All work must be original, and the artist must own the sole copyright to the art. Substitutions of accepted works will not be allowed, and all delivered work must match the image juried. Photography must be on aluminum, Plexiglas, or framed. Frame for Photography must be “floating” 1.5” to 2.00” wide in black or white. 

SIZE RESTRICTIONS

Hanging works are limited to 50” height and 40” width and may not exceed 30 lbs. Per unit. There are no exceptions.

Sculptures are limited to 40” height x 24” depth.

Outdoor Monumental Sculptures are not accepted.

SALES

All work must be available for sale. There is a 30% commission for CONTEMPORARY ART PROJECTS USA/K-Art Projects USA on sales during the physical and online exhibitions.  Prices quoted on the entry form may not be changed after acceptance.

ACCEPTED WORK

The selected artists are responsible for proper arrangements and costs connected to shipping to and from the fair and the insurance of the artwork while it is in transit and at the fair. (the only insurance provided is Liability).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Contemporary Art Project USA/K-Art Projects USA is not responsible for any fees encountered during the shipping, storage, and delivery of artwork.

Each work of art must be identified on the back with the artist’s name and title of the artwork.

Artists are responsible for the shipment and arrival of the artwork on time before the fair set up.

National and International Artists: Artwork must be sent to Contemporary Art Projects USA/K-Art Projects USA and the Shipment to New York and Return is Free.

DISCUSS WITH GALLERY THE BEST METHOD.

Unsold artwork must be picked up on October 31| 2021 at the appropriate closing time of the fair or proper arrangements must be done otherwise will be send back to Miami.

Note: If the unsold artwork is not picked-up or correctly returned, there will be a storage fee of $100.00/per day.

Contemporary Art Projects USA/K-Art Projects USA shall have the right to use for its purposes any image(s) of any artwork that is photographed during the fair. Artists will retain all rights in terms of attribution and ownership of any images of their making in all other respects except those stated herein.

LIABILITY

Artwork will be handled with reasonable care. Contemporary Art Project USA/K-Art Projects USA and its representatives will not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage of artworks while in the fair exhibition’s possession or transit. Contemporary Art Project USA/K-Art Projects USA has the right to reproduce accepted artwork for publicity and documentary purposes. Contemporary Art Project USA/K-Art Projects USA allows researchers and commercial filmmakers to use the project as a backdrop. The artist retains all copyrights of the artwork.

Juried art exhibitions are competitive by nature and require the artist to present artwork that is beautifully executed, innovative, and engages the viewer intellectually, emotionally, as well as visually.
