WE ARE STILL TAKING ENTRIES FOR OUR CELL PHONE EXHIBIT. Although, we have postponed the original dates to ensure the safety of our staff, collectors, and community. We are closely monitoring the Covid-19 pandemic and are looking towards an exhibit date of October 30th, 2020.
Jag Gallery Cell Phone Exhibit:
The rules are simple: Artwork made only on your cell phone: photography, painting, or drawing. No cropping or outside editing (don't edit on your computer - only edit on your phone. Do not crop image into a square or other size other than your phone's given size ratio. Artist's only tool can be their phone. Please no panoramas. Please note your model of phone with your entry.
Upon acceptance, you will not have to print or ship any artwork. We will send you an email that you will send your accepted digial image to. We will faciliate the printing on mounted aluminum with Key West Fine Art Photography and Printing. There will be a printing fee of $ 6.50 per image accepted. This fee is 1/2 of the printing cost as Jag Gallery will pay the 2nd half. Finished pieces will be around 4 x 6 inches. Together, the artist and gallery will determine the price of your artwork.
If your artwork does sell, the gallery will pay 50% (50/50 gallery split) of the sale price within three weeks of the end of the exhibit date.
If your artwork does not sell, you will have the choice pay to send it to yourself. Jag Gallery will facilitate the shipping. If you would rather not send it to yourself, we will dispose of the artwork (we suggest sending it home though - as it will be a great quality print).
When applying, please write the name of the phone you used under, 'medium.' The size dimensions really do not matter as they will all be printed for the exhibit size.
Jag Gallery is a new brick in mortar space in Key West, Florida. We are also the owners of the Lemonade Stand Gallery and have hosted several Small Works Exhibits through Cafe.
