The Evendale Juried Photography Exhibition
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The Evendale Cultural Arts Center is pleased to announce the 2020 Evendale Juried Photography Exhibition. Up to seventy juror-selected photographs will vie for cash awards in this year’s show bringing together professional and amateur fine art photographers. Photographers are invited to submit work for possible inclusion in the exhibition. All subject matter and photographic processes are welcome. As this is held in a family-friendly cultural arts center, artwork will be evaluated for appropriateness. Student category is considered any student under the age of 18 currently enrolled in school.
DEADLINE TO APPLY IS: SEPTEMBER 20, 2020
Exhibit held October 25-November 9, 2020 on the grounds of the Evendale Cultural Arts Center, 10428 Reading Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45241.
Due to ongoing public health concerns the Evendale Cultural Arts Center will install accepted artworks throughout the Village of Evendale municipal complex. ECAC will reproduce all accepted photographs on weather-resistant substrates. Winners will be announced on the first day of the exhibition. Over $500 in cash prizes will be awarded for Best in Show (for whom ECAC will also host a solo exhibition), second and third place, and honorable mention.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Photographers (professional and amateur 18 years or older living within a 50-mile radius of Evendale) are eligible to submit digital photographs or film photographs. As this is held in a family-friendly cultural arts center, artwork will be evaluated for appropriateness. Student category is considered any student under the age of 18 currently enrolled in school.
EXHIBITION
Judging for the exhibition will be done by 2020 Juror Kent Krught. Krugh is a fine art photographer living and working in Cincinnati. His work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions both national and international and in major festivals including FotoFest (Houston) and the Festival de la Luz (Buenos Aires). His work is held in various collections including the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Portland Art Museum, and the Cincinnati Art Museum. The decision of the judge is final and binding. A Best in Show, 2nd place, 3rd place, and honorable mentions will be chosen from all selected exhibition entries.

ENTRY INFORMATION
All entries must be original photographs. Entries must be in photographic medium; black and white; color or experimental. Photos not considered suitable for all ages will not be accepted.
ENTRY PROCEDURE
A maximum of five photographs can be submitted. Digital images of the photo must be submitted at CallForEntry.org for jury consideration. Entries and fees must be received by the application deadline. Please follow the application instructions at CallforEntry.org. You can pay fees directly at the website or mail a check payable to:

Online entries are done through Cafe, a web-based service that allows artists to upload images and organize their artwork for submissions to galleries and exhibits. ENTRY FEE
A non-refundable entry fee of $10 is required for each entry. Students 18 and under, please use the coupon code STUDENT for a $5 discount on your entry. Cash or checks made payable to the Village of Evendale are accepted.
Evendale residents who complete the submission process by the September 13 deadline are free of charge. Evendale residents must email susan.gordy@evendaleohio.org for their coupon code when applying at CallforEntry.org
