OVERVIEW: 
PROJECT FUNDS AVAILABLE:

The following Grants for digital programming are available:

10      Organizational Grants in the amount of $2,500 each

 8       Artist Grants in the amount of $1,250 each

ELIGIBILITY:

This call for digital projects/programming is open to all arts organizations, professional artists or artist teams and designers who are:

·         Age 18 or older

·         Eligible to work in the United States

·         Candidates are eligible regardless of race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender identification, military status, sexual orientation, marital status, or physical ability.

·         Artists may also work in a capacity-building partnership with a local or regional artist or artist teams or cultural based organizations.

·         If selected, artists/arts organizations will be required to provide an open to the public project. 

  • All projects must be completed by December 31, 2020.
  • Neither board members or family members of the Midtown Management District, the Midtown Redevelopment Authority, TIRZ #2 or the Midtown Parks Conservancy are eligible to apply.
  • If you were a grant recepient in either 2018 or 2019 you are not eligible to apply.

Midtown Houston is promoting healthy behaviors that reduce the spread of COVID-19. Following CDC Standard Guidelines for COVID - 19 our staff, board members, community members and the general public, observe and participate in social distancing and masking up. In doing so, we have opted to keep our business operations and functions virtually and that will include the 2020 MicroGrant process. All submissions will be received in a digital platform and evaluation will also occur virtually.
