Your Place at the Table offers an opportunity for artists - national, regional and local, to engage the audience in conversations on identity, representation, validation and history. Consider this question: When presented with the opportunity, how would you show up to your place at the table?
Your Place at the Table is open to any living artist, however we are prioritizing submissions by artists who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color). Not identifying as BIPOC will not disqualify you from selection for the show. Art will be juried on artistic merit but we seek to provide equity to underrepresented individuals.
This visual art exhibition will be held at 311 Gallery in Downtown Raleigh, North Carolina during the month of November, 2020. This is not a digital exhibition, work accepted will need to be shipped/hand delivered to the gallery.
