The exhibition is open to all visual artists residing in Southern California. This opportunity is open to artists ages 18 and over. All entries must be original and not shown previously at the Irvine Fine Arts Center.
Eligible media includes painting, photography, printmaking, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, craft, installation, video, and digital art. Artwork must be made within the past two years. Maximum length of any work should not exceed 10ft.

Artwork delivery: June 14–19
Exhibition dates: July 12–September 18
Notifications sent: Week of May 17
Loan agreements for accepted artwork due: Friday, June 11
Artwork pick-up: September 22–25, 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
FILE SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Please submit high resolution JPG files; audio and video files should be submitted in the appropriate format.
JURYING PROCESS AND AWARDS
The guest juror will make their selections based solely from the submitted entries in CAFÉ. Artworks that do not meet the expectations set forth in their applications may be removed from the exhibition at the juror’s discretion.
JURY NOTIFICATIONS
Juror’s selections will be communicated to all applicants via CAFÉ on the week of May 7.
AWARDS
Awards will be selected by the juror from the accepted entries.
- First Place: $600
- Second Place: $400
- Third Place: $300
- Three Honorable Mentions: $150 each
AGREEMENT
Submission of an entry form shall constitute agreement with all the conditions outlined in this prospectus. The Irvine Fine Arts Center reserves the right to photograph and reproduce art for use in promotional material. Artworks must be on view for the duration of the exhibition.

DELIVERY OF ARTWORK TO THE CENTER
Drop-off dates are June 14–19, unless other arrangements have been agreed to in advance. Shipped entries must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 18, packaged in a reusable container for return. The City of Irvine/ Irvine Fine Arts Center will not reimburse shipping fees or insurance. Shipping costs and insurance are the responsibility of the artist. Shipped artwork must be accompanied by a pre-paid return shipping label.
Artwork presentation: Work over 60 lbs. must be handled by the artist during installation and removal. Artists are responsible for providing all special or unique presentation components. Compromised craftsmanship may be grounds for the removal of an artwork from the exhibition.
LIABILITY
Every reasonable precaution will be taken to ensure protection and careful handling for all artworks. The Irvine Fine Arts Center assumes no insurance liability for damage, theft, or other loss occurred during the delivery or pick up of any artwork; insurance coverage applies only within the duration of the exhibition.
SALES + LOAN AGREEMENT
The Irvine Fine Arts Center will retain 25% commission on any work sold during the exhibition. Artists are under no obligation to list their work for sale. All selected artists must submit a filled and signed city loan agreement before their artwork can be received by the Fine Arts Center. A declared artwork value is necessary for insurance, even if the work is not for sale.
