EVERY COLOR HAS A STORY – A JURIED VIRTUAL SHOW

The Flagler County Art League (FCAL), a non-profit art association located in Palm Coast, Florida, invites you to submit up to four entries to our Every Color Has a Story a virtual exhibition.

Color and emotion are linked in the human mind.  We use color to express how we feel!  When you see RED do you feel passion or danger? Does BLUE feel peaceful or sad? Is YELLOW happiness or caution?  What do you feel when you see a brilliant rainbow?

Splash it, drip it, drop it, mold it, draw it, or brush it!  Use the remarkable power of color to create your own story. You choose the media (2D and 3D entries accepted). We want this show to be a mood-evoking experience! What does the color of joy, or anxiety, look like to you?  Your work could vibrate with energy, or it could hum under the blanket of a soothing palette. What do YOU want to say with COLOR???

This Call for Entry gives you the opportunity to share your feelings expressed through color.  Don’t miss this chance to display and sell your work online!

All sale proceeds will go directly to the Artist. FCAL is waiving any commission percentage for this virtual show!

ABOUT THE FLAGLER COUNTY ART LEAGUE

The Flagler County Art League (FCAL) is a 501c3 non-profit, Florida organization based in Palm Coast, Flagler County, Florida.  Founded in 1978, it serves Flagler County and surrounding communities as a center for the visual arts. Membership consists of just under 300 art lovers and supporters, collectors and, of course, artists!  We offer artists the opportunity to display and sell their work for the benefit and enrichment of the greater community at large.  Right now, FCAL is offering virtual gallery shows and classes only during the Covid pandemic, but we’re hopeful we will be able to reopen the facility for at least live gallery shows in January, 2021.
