Artists are invited to submit original artwork for the “Use of Negative Space” exhibit to be held at the R Gallery in Boulder, Colorado. In this exhibit, we are seeking artwork which negative space is a predominant aspect. Negative space in the artwork should be meaningful and impressive.
R Gallery's goal is to create exhibits that showcase the many different styles of Colorado's talented artists. You are welcome to submit multiple images, however we normally select only one piece from each selected artist. If submitting fewer than three artworks, you will need to fill in the remaining required entries with duplicate images (i.e. submit your first entry twice).
The show is run from January 20 - February 28, 2021 and is open to all mediums.
R Gallery is a fine art gallery in downtown Boulder, Colorado. We focus on Colorado artists working in all styles in all mediums. Join us for our next exhibition.

Eligibility: Colorado Residents. All entries must be of original design and personal execution.

Size: It is best to submit pieces less than 30" wide, including frame or case. We only have a few spots for pieces up to 48" wide.
Shipping: Accepted works must arrive no later than 1/17/2021. Work will be returned by Mar 15 unless otherwise agreed upon. A prepaid return label must be provided if sending the work by carrier.
Sales: All sales will be handled through R Gallery. A 50% commission will be charged. All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale. R Gallery reserves the right to sell accepted works online during the exhibition. R Gallery will send checks to the artist for the sale of their work by the 15th of the month following the month in which the sale occurs.
