Northern Colorado artists are invited to showcase their work along the Galleria walls of the Loveland Public Library in 2021.  TAAP 2D promotes two-dimensional artists through public display of their artworks in City of Loveland facilities, and allows artists a means for artwork sales.

Project Timeline

Deadline for submitting:  Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.

Jury Panel to Review the Artwork: January 20 – February 5, 2021.

Artist to be notified by February 12, 2021. 
Selected artists enter into City Contract by Thursday, February 18, 2021.
Selected artists Deliver Artwork by February 18, 2021
Artwork will be installed shortly thereafter

How to apply

This project is open to all Northern Colorado artists of two-dimensional media.

Artists will be compensated with an honorarium of $350.00.

Applications will be reviewed by a jury panel consisting of Art in Public Places representatives and the general public.

Selected artwork must be considered Museum “ready to hang” with a standard wire system, framed (when appropriate), protective glass (when appropriate), professionally fabricated and durable for public display.
Please note that the artwork is installed on an art railing.  D-ring (hanging hardware) is highly recommended for framed work.

Selected artwork must remain on display for the duration of the program.
Exceptions: Photographs sold within the first three months that are part of an edition.

Artists may submit up to three different works of art per application.  If submitting more than one artwork, please label your submissions clearly and include the dimensions for each work in your artist statement.
