Woman In Art, what does reflection mean to you?
Supporting In My Shoes, an organization that empowers women to learn and develop the life, job and parenting skills necessary to live a healthy and complete life.
Opeing reception March 13th 6pm-8pm. The exhibition will end on March 27th
Nuu Muse Contemporary Art will be hosting the Women In Art - Reflection exhibition curated by gallerist CJ Cowden. This exhibition will celebrate national womens month and help support a great organization, In My Shoes. Calling all women artists to submit their work for this amazing exhibition. There will be an opening reception followed by 2 weeks of display in Nuu Muse Gallery. This group show is open to women artitsts, 2D, 3D and photography. No reproductions of original works will be accepted. No digital prints will be accepted. Please submit up to 3 images for $35. Each additional image is $5 each. All images must be high resolution and 300 dpi. All submitted works must be available and for sale.
Size requirements - 12"X16" minimum 36"X48" maximum
All canvas under 1.5" must be framed. Photography must be framed and in lieu of glass please use acrylic.
1.5" unframed canvas must have painted edges, no unfinished or sloppy edges will hang in the show.
All works must be ready to hang.
Acceptance notifications for selected artists will go out February 21, 2021
All works must be picked up from the gallery by March 30th. Artists wanting their art shipped must send prepaid shipping labels or arrange for shipper to pick-up. A storage fee of $5 per day will apply for all work left past the pick-up date. All submitted work must be for sale.
The gallery will process all sales. All sales will be split 50% to the artist and 50% to the gallery. The gallery will share 50% of their proceeds with In My Shoes.
