PLEASE NOTE - Work must directly relate to the restaurant Casa Bonita
NEXT Gallery is hosting the 4th Annual Casa Bonita Art Show. This show asks artists to submit work that directly relates to the iconic Colorado restaurant. Casa Bonita's doors are currently closed, along with countless other businesses. The "Wish You Were Here" show will be a collection of memories, inspirations or future visions of Casa Bonita.
Cash prizes will be awarded - Best in show: $250, Second Place: $100, Third Place: $50, People’s Choice: $50

Casa Bonita is a 52,000 sq-ft restaurant in Lakewood, Colorado on West Colfax Avenue (deemed “the longest, wickedest street in America”). There is a 3-story waterfall, gunfights, gorilla chases, puppet shows and a haunted cave and has been in operation since 1974. EXHIBITION DATES
Casa Bonita - Wish You Were Here will run from February 19th thru March 7.
SAFETY
All events, as well as the gallery set-up, will follow all CDC guidelines. Safety will be a priority. Some events may occur online.
NOTIFICATION
Accepted artists will be notified by email, no later than 11:59 (mst) on February 10.
DROP OFF
Local artists may drop their work at the gallery on February 14th, 15th, or 16th, 2021.
Out-of-state art must be received at NEXT Gallery no later than February 16th, 2021.
SPECIFICATIONS
All mediums will be accepted.Works must match the image that was juried. All works must be dry and ready to hang. Wires must be in good shape and presentation must look professional. Artwork must remain in the gallery for the duration of the exhibit.
SALES
NEXT Gallery will collect a 30% commission. Purchased art must remain in the gallery for the duration of the show.
PICKUP
Unsold artwork must be picked up between March 7th and 14th,2021. Out-of-state works must have return shippiing instructions. Artist will be responsible for the cost of shipping.
