IMPORTANT DATES:

Thursday, September 24th | Artists will be notified via email if their artwork is selected
Tuesday, October 12th | All selected work must arrive by 5:30pm
Tuesday, October 19th | Juried Show opens 
Thursday, November 4th | Awards Reception, 5:00pm-7:00pm
Saturday, November 27th | Juried Show closes at 5:30pm
Tuesday, November 30th | Unsold work available for pick-up, unsold work ships
Friday, December 3rd | All unsold work must be picked up or arrangements made to ship work

THE FINE PRINT

PLEASE NOTE:  Once you finalize your CaFÉ application and click "Submit Payment," your application cannot be edited in any way. Please make sure all intended artwork has been uploaded and selected, and that all artwork information is correct. 

Eligibility: Original work (no reproductions, no photomechanical prints). Both 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional works are eligible, except photography. Maximum width of 2-Dimensional art cannot exceed 35 inches. Maximum width or length of free-standing 3-Dimensional art cannot exceed 35 inches. Open to all artists living in the United States. 

Open to all artists residing in the US. All work must be original, created within the past five years, and cannot have been included in a prior SAGE Juried Show. 
Artists may re-submit artworks that were not juried into a previous Juried Show at SAGE.

Accepted artwork must be exhibit-ready with proper wire-hanging mechanism included (no saw-tooth hangers or clip-on frames will be accepted).

For 3-Dimensional work, SAGE will provide pedestals. The artist will need to provide proper display hardware/stands for any sculpture work that cannot fit on a pedestal (maximum pedestal dimension of SAGE pedestal is 22in. by 16in.

Both stages of jurying in this show will be done blindly (the juror will judge solely based on the image of the submitted artwork without knowing the identity of the artist). Works to be included in the show will be chosen no later than Friday, September 24th. If your work is chosen, you will be notified via email. Do not drop off or ship any work to SAGE until you have been notified of your acceptance into the show.

Awards will be announced at the Awards Reception on Thursday, November 4th from 5pm to 7pm. All Artists are encouraged to attend if possible.


JUROR | T. Allen Lawson
T. Allen Lawson has won numerous awards including the 2017 Prix De West Purchase Award, and the Robert Lougheed Memorial Artists’ Choice Award, 2016 Directors’ Choice for Outstanding Landscape and the Robert Lougheed Memorial Artists’ Choice Award, both at the Prix de West; and the 2010 Founder’s Prize, Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts. In 2008, he was chosen by the President and First Lady to create the painting for the official White House Christmas card. He lives with his wife and five children in Sheridan, Wyoming and Rockport, Maine.
