Artists will sign a consent form for the use of their name, image, and artwork in connection with the exhibition, publication, and all related marketing, publicity, public programs, and promotion for the exhibition. Works selected for exhibition cannot be removed by the artist before the end of the exhibition, including the time in which the work is received and being prepared for display. If work is sold by The Gallery, the Artist will be notified in writing. The Gallery will retain a 20% commission. Any third-party shipping and insurance of sold works shall be at the expense of the Buyer. Any artwork left after (14) business days, with no pickup/return shipment/no contact or reasoning stated to Gallery) following the close of the show will be deemed "abandoned", and become the property of the Gallery Work will be retrieved only from an address in the United States or Canada, and the Gallery will return work only to the address from which it was picked up, unless the artist notifies the Gallery in writing of a change of address in the United States or Canada. The artist shall carry optional insurance for the work while in transit to and from Pittsburgh, PA. Insurance in the amount of the good-faith estimate of value determined by the artist shall be placed on all loans and carried in force from the time the work enters the custody of the Gallery and is condition-reported until the work leaves the Gallery at the conclusion of the exhibition. This shall be an all-risk policy, subject to standard policy exclusions carried by the Gallery, and all costs shall be borne by the Gallery. In the event of loss or damage to the work while in the custody of the Gallery, the artist will be required to accept insurance proceeds as its sole form of remedy against the Gallery. Note: Works that cannot be repaired if damaged due to the nature of the materials will not be insured, and the Gallery bears no responsibility for damage or loss to such works. The Gallery bears no responsibility for loss or damage caused by normal wear and tear (such as dust and light) or inherent deterioration of the works. The Gallery is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of the internet or any website, including injury or damage to artists or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this exhibition. If, for any reason, the exhibition is not capable of running as planned, the Gallery reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the exhibition and artists will be notified in writing of any of the above situations and any refunds will not be issued. If due to unforeseeable circumstances the In Person event cannot take place, the Online Only event shall be considered "in-lieu" of the originally planned event. Any shipped artwork shall be returned at the expense of the Artist.
