Exhibit Title:   FANTASY

Theme description:  Step into imagined worlds of dragons, magic, and mythical creatures. Fantasy art theme depicting magical or other supernatural themes, ideas, creatures, or settings that explore fantasy, imagination, and the dream state.

Exhibit Dates: Art Opening September 11, 2021, last day of show October 22, 2021

Exhibit location: Fe Gallery 1100 65th street Sacramento, CA 95819. Artwork will also be available for view and purchase online at www.FEgallery.com.

Medium and Dimensions: All physical mediums may enter (i.e., digital work must be printed and be the original number print).

Dimension limits:

2d: 24" x 36" including frame max. No min.
3d: 5’x5’x5’ max., 8”x8”x8” min. (smaller 3d work may be shown if the artist provides an adequate locking display case for protection).

Entry deadline:  July 15, 2021

Commission: 40% to Fe Gallery, 60% to the artist. The sale price is what you list; we will take 40% of the sale price (your listed price).

Prize: $350 cash prize to the “Fe Favorite,” $100 2nd place and $50 to 3rd,  selected by a jury of Fe Gallery representatives.

Participants selected and notified: August 6, 2021

Contract and paperwork deadline: August 13, 2021

Preparing artwork: All artwork must be made ready for display by the artist:

It must have appropriate hanging mechanisms (wire preferred). 

The artwork is to be clean and undamaged.

All 2d work must be either framed or mounted on a rigid surface (no pinning paper to the wall.),

3d work must be freestanding or wall-mounted (we will not drill or attach to our pedestals and tables.)

Shipping/drop off: August 16, 2021, through August 28, 2021

Artist is responsible for getting art to the gallery within the given dates. If dropping off, call to confirm we are open.

Return shipping/pick up:

October 23-November 5, please call if picking up to confirm hours.

Artist is responsible for either picking up artwork or providing a return shipping label within the given dates.

If shipping, Fe Gallery will repack your artwork using the original materials delivered in and arrange pick-up by USPS, FedEx, or ups.

 

Opening reception: Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 6 pm (depending on COVID)

Closing reception: Friday, October 22, hours to be determined
