Eligibility 
The competition is open to photographers 18 years of age or older, excluding members of fotofoto gallery. Image capture must have been made with the camera on your phone. Any phone!

Images previously exhibited at fotofoto gallery are ineligible for submission.

Submissions 
All entries must be submitted via the CaFE system, mail-in entries will not be considered.  Images must conform to CaFE formatting standards, instructions can be found in the CaFE help section.There is no theme for this show - just send us your finest phone images. Apply apps, edit on your computer or just send the capture from your camera roll.

For Accepted Entries 
Approximately 30 photographs will be chosen for a four week exhibition in October 2020. Upon completion of the jury process, images will be printed by fotofoto gallery. No need for you to print, frame or ship your work.  The exhibition will be installed salon-style in our beautiful gallery space.

About fotofoto Gallery 
fotofoto gallery was formed in 2003 by a group of fine art  photographers desiring to create a center where photographic visions could be exchanged. Now in our sevententh year, fotofoto gallery continues to be a place for the photographic community and students to view a wide range of  photographic processes including traditional black and white, digital, experimental and alternative processes. The gallery hosts twelve exhibitions each year and reaches out to the community by providing invitational shows, workshops, and lectures. The gallery is located in the heart of Huntington, New York. We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization.

About the Juror 

Patricia Beary is an inventive fine art photographer and an accomplished art educator from Long Island, New York. Holding a BFA from LIU Post, Patricia’s photography is strongly influenced by her fine art background. She aligns herself with the Pictorialist Photographers who took the medium of photography and reinvented it as an art form, placing beauty, tonality, and composition above creating an accurate visual record. Her photographs are painterly and abstract, using camera, post processing, and contemporary alternative process to deconstruct and interpret rather than create images that solely represent. • As a member of Soho Photo Gallery in NYC, Patricia exhibits her photography in both solo and group exhibitions and holds a position on the executive board. • She exhibits regularly at the Alex Ferrone Gallery in Cutchogue, Long Island. Patricia’s work has been featured in group exhibitions in the US, Italy, Spain and Japan. She is the recipient of a Julia Margaret Cameron Award (2014) and a Pollux Award (Honorable Mention, 2021).  • Retired from a 30-year career as an art educator, Patricia fuels her passion for teaching by working with the Image Factory Workshops, introducing photographers to contemporary alternative process techniques in photography. • Websites: patriciabeary.com • imagefactorywokshops.com  Instagram: @patriciabeary

Fees and Deadlines 

Fees: 5 images - $40. Images 6 – 20 may be submitted for an additional charge of $5 per image.
