MEET THE JUROR
James Matson is a sculptor and set designer living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He started off as a potter but kept sticking chunks of steel and wood into chunks of clay until it wouldn’t fit in the kiln anymore. His work centers around personal narratives seeking to find those universal moments that we share as individuals. His focus on the relationship between space and form is central to all his sculptural work. He recently retired from teaching after thirty-five years of Sculpture, Ceramics, and Three-Dimensional Design. His work has been seen both here and abroad and is part of several collections.

Please submit 3 artworks minimum, with materials, dimensions, and value. If less than 3 artworks are available for the exhibition, please submit the artwork file in duplication to reach the minimum. Please note that artworks valued more than the insurance maximum may not be selected.
