ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to all US residents 18 years of age or older, excluding fotofoto gallery artists. Any photographic medium including digital and alternative processes will be accepted. The maximum height or width of framed work cannot exceed 24 inches. Free-standing pieces cannot be accepted.
SUBMISSIONS
All entries must be submitted via the CaFE system. Mail-in entries will not be considered. Images must conform to CaFE formatting standards. Instructions can be found in the CaFE help section.
FOR ACCEPTED ENTRIES
Approximately 30 photographs will be chosen for a month-long exhibition from February 3 - March 5, 2022 to be hung in our gallery and also online on our website. Shipping information will be provided to artists selected for participation upon completion of the jury process. To ensure the cohesiveness of the exhibition, we request that work be framed in simple black or white frames with neutral museum quality mats (no colors, please). All framed pieces must be wired.
ABOUT fotofoto Gallery
fotofoto gallery was formed in 2003 by a group of fine art photographers desiring to create a center where photographic visions could be exchanged. Now in our 19th year, fotofoto gallery continues to be a place for traditional black and white, digital, experimental and alternative processes. The gallery hosts twelve exhibitions each year and reaches out to the community by providing invitational shows, workshops and lectures. The gallery is located in the heart of Huntington, New York and is open Thursday through Sunday and by appointment. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
ABOUT THE JUROR
Eileen Rafferty is an artist and educator who travels the country teaching topics such as Creativity and Photographic History, She was a Guest Instructor/Portfolio Reviewer from 2011-2016 at B&H Event Space, New York City NY. Rafferty is also a freelance videographer and video editor and owns a Creative Consulting business to guide and motivate clients in nurturing a creative life. Her artwork combines a lifelong study of Photography to create mixed media, video, drawings and photographs. She often incorporates archival photographs and is influenced by Japanese art and culture. She earned an MFA in Photography/Film and a BS in Human Physiology. Home is currently Missoula, Montana.
FEES AND DEADLINES
FEES: 5 images - $40. Images 6 -15 may be submitted for an additional charge of $5 per image.
DEADLINES: All submissions: December 17, 2021 midnight (standard mountain time)
Notifications: December 27, 2021
Framed photographs: Received by January 21, 2022
Exhibition dates: February 3, - March 5, 2022
Reception: Saturday, February 5, 2022 (Time to be determined.)

Juror, Eileen Rafferty, will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
$300 1st place, $200 2nd place and $100 3rd place.
