The Animal Kingdom.  Animals are a big part of our lives seen or unseen they are all around us, they include land, water and air animals such as fish, crustaceans, birds, water and land mammals, extinct, domestic, primates, and insects.

How have they been a part of your life. How do you feel about them or their good or bad situations. Do you love them? Ignore them or just tolerate them. Record your feelings with a piece of artwork real, imaginary or abstract.

You can create a painting in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, ink, assemblage, collage, print, photograph, a sculpture in stone, clay, wood, paper maché, bronze or even an installation.

The undersigned Artist agrees to enter their artwork into a call-for-entry at the Niza Knoll Gallery. The entry fee is non refundable.

Participation in this call-for-entry is further subject to the following specifications and requirements: Local art must be delivered by the artist or representative to the gallery May 10th between 11 and 3.

Shipped art must be delivered to a designated address by May 9th. Shipping address will be will be given to accepted artists.

1. All submissions must be made online via café www.callforentry.org 

2. Art must be original and created by the artist in the last 4 years. Art previously shown in gallery will not be accepted.

3. Artwork must be well executed, clean and dry and ready to hang. a. The gallery has the right to disqualify a selected work of art if it does not follow the guidelines or does not look like the image on the entry form. 

4. 2D artwork must be ready to hang with a secure wire on the back.

No zigzag, saw tooth, or triangle hangers. No white or plastic frames. Please do not use fancy or elaborate frames, a simple black frame (and matt if needed) is the best choice ( frames are optional if your painting on stretched canvas or board with at least a 1  1/2 inch border) 

5. Local 2D work must not exceed 48” in width and 72” in high (This includes frame) 

Local accepted work must be brought to gallery May 10th between 11 and 3.

  • Shipped art cannot be larger than 36 x 36 inches and shipped in a strong reusable box strong enough for return shipping with a paid return label inside.
  • Do NOT USE SHIPPING peanuts, package will not be accepted! DO NOT SHIP TO GALLERY! Shipping address will be sent to accepted artists.  Shipped art must arrive by  May 9, 2022

6. 3D pedestal works must weigh no more than 30 pounds. a. If the 3D work is to be hung on the wall it cannot exceed 30 lbs. b. 3D work must be sturdy and able to stand-alone. 

7. If an artwork requires special hardware or instructions for display please include it with the art. 

8 .The Niza Knoll Gallery is not responsible for artwork in transit to and from gallery. 

9. The Niza Knoll Gallery will make every effort to protect the art while on display. 

10. It is recommended that the artists carry their own insurance.

11. Accepted work must be for sale at the exhibit and remain in the exhibit for the entire show. 

12. The artist receives 60% of the sale price within 40 days after the end of the exhibit. 

13.The gallery or it’s assigned jurors make all final decisions for selection of artwork. 

15. Gallery may use images of accepted artwork in exhibit for promotion and publicity.

 16. All artists must abide by the delivery date. 

17 .All accepted artists must supply the gallery with a short statement about their work. 

18. Artwork must be for sale.

Locally delivered work can be no larger than 48 x 72 inches, including frame if used.

Shipped work can be no larger than 36 x 36 including frame if used.

 Artwork must be well executed, clean and dry and ready to hang.

3D pedestal artwork must not exceed 30lbs. and stand securely and solid. If it to be hung it must not exceed 30 lbs. and it must have a secure hanging method.

All art must be marked clearly on the back of the work with your name, title, medium, size and price.

Work must remain in the gallery for entire exhibit and must be available for sale.

Gallery may use images for publicity.

Deliver local art may 10th between 11 and 3 pm.

Shipped art to arrive no later than May 9th
