The b.j.spoke gallery's 41st annual EXPO competition will be judged by Sewon Kang who currently is Archivist at The Easton/Bourgeois Archive in NYC. Formerly she served as Curatorial Assistant at the Museum of Modern Art.
The competition is International and will accept work in all Fine Arts media: watercolor, oils, acrylic, mixed media, printmaking, pastel, drawing, collage, sculpture, installation art, video (short), photography, original digital art, fiber art etc. Our juror will be asked to select several works by each chosen artist. Because of Covid-19, the winners' exhibition will be virtual. We will promote the show and display the winners' work on the gallery website and social media. The official "show dates" will be March 1 to March 31, 2022. In lieu of a physical reception we will have a zoom reception in March for artists, their guests and the public. Winners will be notified by the 3rd week of December, 2021.
There will be 3 small cash prizes awarded.
