“Voltage: The Power of Contemporary Jewelry” is a broadly themed, multi-faceted exhibition & sale that seeks to highlight SNAG’s diverse membership to several different audiences. Please thoroughly read the details below. Image submitted must be of the piece that will be exhibited.

EXHIBITION THEME

The power of jewelry lies in the spark that is generated by the maker and their unique observation of the world. The ignition of the creation process unfolds into a current of energy that infuses the piece with its unique story and an enthusiasm that can transfer from the artist to an audience or individual when a connection is made. Pivotal moments reshape and shift artists’ studio practices and audience relationships. We ask applicants to consider the profound impact of inspiration and the different trajectorial changes that have kindled an exciting emergence of new work.
