Installation/sculptures that last 3-5 years or longer are preferred but not specifically required. Materials used should focus on organic, recycled, up-cycled, re-used, sustainable, and/or otherwise “green” resources.

The resident will have a budget of $20,000 to create the work (this comprises the honorarium and production budget). The artist will also have Art Center organizational support to facilitate the logistics of working with the public on the construction of the piece and to market the event. The one-week residency must take place sometime between September 1 and November 30 of 2012. The resident will work with the Art Center’s Exhibitions department to schedule the residency.
