Block Real Estate Services, LLC, as the property developer and manager, is seeking multiple digital motion artwork pieces for display on 46 Penn Centre, a 14-story office building on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri, and The Offices at CityPlace, four office buildings in Overland Park, Kansas.

46 Penn Centre

Located at 4622 Pennsylvania Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri 46 Penn Centre is the newest multitenant office building located on the north side of the Country Club Plaza. It's architectural lighting elements include a 912 x 432 pixel LED display located at the top of the building (visible throughout the day and part of the night) on the south side and multiple linear and uplights (visible only during the night) on the south and east sides. The later sample from video played on the board to change colors creating a dynamic experience at night.

The Offices at CityPlace

Located at the intersection of US Highway 69 and College Boulevard in Overland Park, Kansas they will be a collection of four office buildings when completed. Currently CityPlace Corporate Centre I and III, at four-stories each, are completed with the other two planned at six-stories and currently under development. Each of these buildings has LED lights on two of their sides facing towards the highway and either south, for the two north buildings, or north, for the two south buildings. Visible throughout the night as a large display, during the day the upper glass appears the same as the rest of the building. Each building runs a unique video playlist, but pieces can be designed using timing to create the illusion of items jumping or flowing from one building to the next.

BRES is seeking artwork that can be displayed at both locations. As part of the purchase process we are requiring a 90 day exclusive use in the surrounding 100 miles. BRES would maintain usage rights on any purchased pieces for display at both locations without expiration. Once artwork is selected representatives of BRES will work with the artist on final video file submissions and purchase agreements.
