The 4th Annual Loveland Art Studio Tour is held the 2nd weekend in October and is open to artists living in Loveland, CO.
This juried exhibition is an exciting opportunity to showcase and invite collectors into artist’s studios. This event is organized to enhance recognition of the wonderful art community in Loveland and show visitors the quality of work being produced here.
Loveland Art Studio Tour Artist Benefits:
• Artist/Studio listing with art thumbnail in LAST promotional material • Advertising by print brochure, social media, map, radio, and website • Artists receive their own web page on our website www.lovelandartstudiotour.com as well as a link to their own website. • 2 Studio tour signs to direct attendees to your studio. (Additional signs may by purchased for $15 each) • Space to hang artwork in the Loveland Museum/Gallery during the LAST Preview Exhibit
Small Group (2-3 Artists): • Artists must share this space throughout the year, temporary studios and pop-up galleries are not permitted. • Each juried artist will receive an individual listing with art thumbnail in LAST promotional material. • Advertising by print brochure, social media, map, radio, and website • Each juried Artists receive their own web page on our website www.lovelandartstudiotour.com as well as a link to their own website. • 2 Studio tour signs per studio to direct attendees. (Additional signs may by purchased for $15 each) • Note: All artists will still need to submit an individual application and be juried into the event. Only One member of a group can display artwork in the Loveland Museum/Gallery Preview Show. Large Group (4+ Artists): Please Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you share a studio with over 4 artists throughout the year and are interested in participating in LAST for a discounted fee. Note: All artists will still need to submit an individual application and be juried into the event. Only One member of a group can display artwork in the Loveland Museum/Gallery Preview Show. Loveland Art Studio Tour Artist Requirements for Participation: 1. Artist must keep studio open to the public for the entire tour period (Saturday and Sunday 10am to 5pm) 2. Participation in distribution of marketing materials (50 pieced per artist) 3. Pick up and place studio tour signs to direct guests to your studio 4. Pay all applicable local, county and state fees and taxes 5. Remove signs at end of tour and return signs to organizing committee. 6. During the Tour days and hours, the studio must sell only work by participating tour artists who have juried, been accepted and paid the LAST application and studio fee. 7. Studios must include an actual art production area. 8. Studios that provide education, instruction or provide services to artists as a regular course of business may display but not sell student and client work during the show (unless the student/client is a paying LAST participant).
Important Information: • Event Dates: Saturday, October 13, 2012 and Sunday, October 14, 2012 • Opening Reception at the Loveland Museum/Gallery Friday, October 12, 2012 • Exhibition in Foote Gallery at Loveland Museum/Gallery: Drop Off: Tuesday September 18, 2012, Pick Up: Tuesday November 27, 2012 • Application Deadline: May 1,2011 • Administration Fee: $15 (non-refundable) Application Fee payable by check upon acceptance: o Individual $150 o Small Group (2-3 artists): $250 o Large Group (4+ artists): contact email@example.com Notification to Applicants of Acceptance Status: May 20, 2012 Selection Process: IMAGES: Please submit from 3-6 images that you feel best represents your body of work. You will be selected by a juror based on the images you send with this application. An Independent Jury will make final selections to assure that participants meet LAST standards. No applicant name appears on the Juror form and all decisions made by the jurors are final. (Jury to be determined)
This event is organized to showcase working artists in our community; galleries and pop-up studios will not be represented in the tour. If you are planning on displaying additional artists in your space, all artists must be juried and all artists must pay the $150 application fee upon acceptance. Artists who showcase other artist’s work who were not accepted will be asked to not participate in future tours.
