The Art League of Lincoln is rekindling the FEATS OF CLAY Art Show and Competition in West Placer County, CA.  The show legacy celebrates the rich history in clay competitions and was formerly held at Gladding McBean Clay Manufacturing Company in Lincoln, CA.  For 2022, the Small Feats of Clay Show and Competition will be scaled-back compared to previous years in both the size of the art as well as the size of the show.  In prior years, our shows have had entries from all over the United States, Canada, Europe, Mexico and Asia, and we hope to continue in that vein.

The Small Feats of Clay ceramic competition art show will be showcased at the 580 Sixth St. Lincoln California art gallery location from March 2 to March 26, 2022.  We are delighted to have  an outstanding clay artist selecting the pieces and awards for the 2022 show:  Marsha Schindler, a California native artist, who holds an MA in Art from Cal State Long Beach.  Marsha's mural work has been commissioned by Maria Shriver, the First Lady of California, and now is exhibited at the Women’s History Museum of Sacramento. See more information and web links below.

This year's show Well Grounded is being held in conjunction with NCECA's conference 2022 'Fertile Ground' in Sacramento CA.  Our show's basic theme is called ‘Well Grounded’ and celebrates the organic effect of working with clay as expressive art.
