The Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts is offering this exhibition exclusively for Leica Shooters worldwide. The exhibition is conceived as an International showcase for Leica shooters with no theme or prompt beyond “the Leica Look”. This call is open to photographs shot with any Leica camera.  This is a unique opportunity to share your work in a gallery exhibition that will be juried by Olaf Willoughby and Eileen McCarney Muldoon.

The challenge

This is a photo competition with a difference. If you shoot with a Leica your options are unlimited. You can use any Leica camera and choose any theme or subject. The challenge is, can you capture that mystique, that certain quality which sets Leica images apart?
Is it the bokeh?, the micro contrast? the quality of the glass? or that a Leica lens is optimised to be used wide open? The debate continues but in this competition we are interested in your creativity in capturing the Leica Look.
