Kahilu Exhibits, located in the galleries at Kahilu Theatre on Hawai'i Island, has opened the application process for our 2022 Exhibition Season (Jan- Dec 2022). Our exhibition program features local and global works of art from both emerging and established visual artists and accepted proposals will be considered from individuals or artist groups, as well as from curators of exhibitions.. Educational outreach includes school visits, artist talks, workshops, and publications that encourage the visual arts to be a catalyst for creativity and growth. Our Exhibition Committee selects artists, artist groups and/or curators via a proposal-and-review process, once a year. Applications submitted will remain on file for two years, and those not chosen for an exhibit will be considered for any additional opportunities that occur during that or the subsequent season.
